CONDUCTING

 

 David has conducted many brass bands over the years including Sherborne,

St Albans, East London Brass plus guest conducted at many other bands. 

 

He has a good knowledge of the repertoire and much experience on the contest platform.

Band training is a particular speciality of David and he has build a good reputation for it as he is 

 happy to work hard to get the best out of the players no matter their standard.

David is currently Musical Director for Sherborne Town Band who have recently under his guidance won a place in The Brass Band Championships Final to take place in September 2023

 

In the orchestral field he has conducted mainly chamber orchestras and has been involved in many youth projects including the

London Festival Youth Orchestra
